A Walk Down Walkerville
You might never have guessed, but Walkerville is a surprisingly walkable neighborhood, as opposed to the car-centric infrastructure that Windsor takes quite a fancy to. Despite the heat, I had a nice time hunting for things to see and photograph.

These were all shot on a 50mm prime lens. On reflection, I think I chose the wrong f-stop for this outing. Still need to find that nice sweet spot to get the center of the image as sharp as I can. Ah well; always something to learn!
Regardless I’m still a fan of how these turned out. Especially the one with the blue shovel; the framing and eye-leading it does with the colours really popped in a fun way to me. Just goes to show what you can see if you’re looking for it, even in your hometown!
Bonus Processing Fun!
While playing around in RawTherapee, I accidentally stumbled across the creation of this image! (Below you can see the before and after.)

It’s a bit out there compared to my other stuff, but I find myself liking that. It’s a strange artistic touch; feels like my own signature on the photo.
